Export your data
You can download your Shelfcast data as CSV files at any time, to keep a copy, work with it in a spreadsheet, or move it to another store. The files use the same column names the import reads, so they go straight back in.
Download a file
Section titled “Download a file”Go to Import and export and, under Export, press Suppliers,
Supplier products, Purchase orders or Adjustment history. The file
downloads straight away, named after your store, the kind of data and the date —
for example corner-shop-purchase-orders-2026-10-20.csv.
The download buttons stop working half an hour after the page opens. If one doesn’t download, reload the page and press it again.
What’s in each file

What you can’t export
Section titled “What you can’t export”- Products and stock levels. They live in Shopify — use Shopify’s own product export.
- Forecasts and reorder suggestions.
- Stock counts. The changes they made are in the adjustment history.
- Sales history. Use Shopify’s reports.
Moving to another store
Section titled “Moving to another store”Install Shelfcast on the new store, wait for its first sync, then import the files in this order: suppliers, supplier products, purchase orders, adjustment history. Products are matched by SKU and barcode, so they need to be the same in both stores. → Import a CSV
Planning settings, reorder points and email templates don’t come across in a file. Set them again in the new store.
Before you uninstall
Section titled “Before you uninstall”Export first. Shopify asks Shelfcast to delete your store’s data 48 hours after you uninstall, and it can’t be recovered after that. → Privacy and your data
